Jim Ross let his WWE contract expire and now he is with AEW. Ross signed what is said to be the best deal in pro wrestling history for a commentator and it is easy to see why because as Cody Rhodes put it: “He’s Jim f*cking Ross.”

Good ole JR might be locked into a three-year multi-million dollar deal with AEW at the moment, but you can never say never in pro wrestling. Ross realizes this so when TMZ’s camera caught up with him he never closed the door on a WWE return.

“I think when you’re in the entertainment business and you’re proverbially on your back nine of life you say no to nothing. You say never say never. So I’m committed for three years to AEW and hopefully for longer. I’m not thinking that much far ahead. I’m ready to get to work today.”

Jim Ross is going to be plenty busy because he is also starting a new podcast with Conrad Thompson. So the Something To Wrestle With co-host will be able to get a very in-depth look at JR’s career. Ross also has AEW starting up so he will be plenty busy for years to come.
