AEW Having Title Belts Made

All Elite Wrestling might not own wrestling ring, but they have to start somewhere. Double Or Nothing will have some big matches and they already hinted at an AEW Champion during the first rally. So title belts are going to happen. The only question is when.

Bryan Alvarez was asked about the AEW title belt situation during Wrestling Observer Live. He responded positively as he believed that this was underway as we speak.

“I believe — don’t take this to the bank — but I believe belts are being made now. Now I don’t know if that means they’re going to be debuted at that show or maybe later on, but I believe they are putting the belts together and if there are maybe there will be some title matches [at Double Or Nothing].”

We will have to wait and see what The Elite plans on doing next. They are going to eventually be a full-fledged promotion with a touring schedule and a television show. Naturally, title belts are going to be a part of that picture.
