Kurt Angle is gearing up for his final pro wrestling match. He will face Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 which was a very controversial decision. WWE is staying the course and it seems like this match will go down as scheduled.

Angle jumped on Facebook on Wednesday morning and acknowledged the fact that he is not the version of himself that fans wanted. However, he is six years clean and couldn’t be happier about that.

Wrestlemania is around the corner. My very last match. I know its not the old Kurt Angle everyone has wanted, but im proud knowing its the new Kurt Angle thats been clean for almost 6 years. Thank you to all those who have been supporting me through the good and bad. I love you all. #RetirementMatch #itstrue #countdown

We will just have to wait and see how long Kurt Angle will be able to wrestle when the time comes to lock up with Baron Corbin. His match against AJ Styles was cut very short on SmackDown this week and he has one more scheduled match against Rey Mysterio on RAW before the show of shows.

You never know if WWE could surprise us with one more match on the blue brand too, but Kurt Angle’s in-ring career will be over at WrestleMania. Hopefully, it will all go according to plan and help elevate the business as Angle has striven to do his entire career.
