WWE Attempted To Stop Negative Comments After Kurt Angle vs Baron Corbin WrestleMania Announcement

Kurt Angle announced this week on RAW that he will be facing Baron Corbin in his farewell match. This was not received well at all by anyone. Since then it has been speculated that WWE might actually consider changing this match due to the negative backlash.

Angle’s own wife tweeted out in response to this announcement and she was not happy. The comments about her being underwhelmed by her husband’s last match were quickly taken down off social media. However, that apparently wasn’t done on her own choice.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that “[Kurt Angle’s] wife, who apparently wasn’t clued in about knocking the company, even complained about what an underwhelming retirement match this is until she was told to take down her post.”

It was not made clear if WWE or Kurt Angle himself told his wife to nix the negativity, but it was taken down for a reason. At this time Angle vs Corbin is booked for WrestleMania, however, you never know if WWE could change that plan. Then again, they certainly love getting heat and this decision brought nothing but resentment from fans.
