An update has been provided regarding the potential UFC return of Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar’s future has been a hot topic over the course of the last nine months or so, dating back to his appearance at UFC 226. Brock, who is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, confronted Daniel Cormier following his win over Stipe Miocic and seemingly challenged him to a fight.

Lesnar had to go through the USADA testing pool before being eligible to fight, but even after doing so, we haven’t heard much in regards to when he might return to the Octagon.

UFC president Dana White seems to have confirmed that Daniel Cormier vs Brock Lesnar is next, although earlier in the week he said that he hadn’t spoken to Brock and that he “still had obligations” with WWE.

A lot of fans seem to believe that DC will steamroll his way through Brock if they do indeed square off for the belt, but even if that’s the case, the pay per view is going to earn both men a lot of money. Lesnar is a proven draw, and Cormier deserves one last big pay day before riding off into retirement.

The big question is how will this impact his professional wrestling career, as it seems entirely possible to suggest that Brock will return to the squared circle pretty quickly after his mixed martial arts comeback.

Either way, keep your eyes glued to social media over the next few weeks – because we could have a decision one way or the other pretty soon.
