Kofi Kingston was set for a WWE Title opportunity at WWE Fastlane. Then Vince McMahon changed up the plans once again. The Miz vs Shane McMahon
The Miz and Shane McMahon’s partnership was started as The A-Lister used their common bond of parental approval to soften him up. Now the two are former SmackDown Tag Team Champions after winning the titles at the Royal Rumble and losing them the next month to The Usos. McMiz has another chance to win the tag team titles at WWE Fastlane, however, this could also be a perfect location for Shane McMahon to turn uber-heel and betray The Miz in front of the A-Lister’s hometown crowd in Cleveland Ohio. Since the next step after that is the show of shows, it only stands to reason that these two could battle in MetLife Stadium.
Asuka vs Lacey Evans
Vince McMahon sees something big in Lacey Evans. Her backstory mixed with her ability to perform in the ring and her classic look is very attractive to McMahon and he sees big dollar signs. It is said that Vince McMahon considers Evans one of the future top three female Superstars in the company after Ronda Rousey’s exit. Therefore, Lacey Evans’ usual gimmick of coming out just to be noticed on WWE television could translate into a SmackDown Women’s Title match against Asuka at WrestleMania.
