Asuka vs Mandy Rose was also added to the WWE Fastlane card last night. It is good that WWE is putting Asuka in a pay-per-view match to defend her title after neglecting to book the SmackDown Women’s Champion at all for Elimination Chamber.
There are a few big matches that WWE hinted at this week as well. The RAW brand could see a multi-team match for their RAW Tag Team Titles, but nothing was booked just yet so that’s not official.
Ronda Rousey’s RAW Women’s Title could be up in the air as well because she laid down her title this week because they wouldn’t bring Becky Lynch back. Then the next night on SmackDown, Charlotte Flair announced that she will be on RAW next week to be crowned the new RAW Women’s Champion. However, nothing is booked for Fastlane.
The IC Title and US Title also do not have matches represented on the upcoming Fastlane card. The Cruiserweight Title, while it could be defended looks to be focused on a big tournament currently going on durig 205 Live to determine Buddy Murphy’s WrestleMania opponent instead.
Let’s take a look at the card so far, but it is also important to remember that everything is subject to change in WWE. However, with only four matches officially booked, WWE has plenty of room to add more matches.
