WWE might be going through a bit of a transition. There are a few Superstars who are rumored to be looking for an exit from the company and now it seems that six people are drawing even closer to a possible departure.
This does not mean that all of these Superstars or any of them for that matter are going to AEW. However, with All Elite Wrestling opening their doors anything is possible.
Jim Ross and Matt Hardy both have contracts expiring next month. Matt Hardy actually updated fans on Thursday saying that he only has 11 days left on his WWE contract which would put his final date at March 5th. At this time there is still no information on Jeff Hardy’s contract status even though he and Matt signed deals at the same time when returning to WWE.
Jim Ross’ WWE exit has been expected for a while since they blocked him from renegotiating a new deal with NJPW.
The company could also be losing five more to Superstars in April. AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, The Usos, and Paige are all set to have their contracts run out on the month of WrestleMania 35.
Dean Ambrose has already made his intentions clear and WWE announced that he is leaving. The Usos’ father Rikishi teased that his twin sons will be free agents very soon as well.
AJ Styles is expected to re-sign with WWE, but nothing has been made official yet. Also, Paige’s WWE exit could be a possibility just two months after Fighting With My Family’s release.
Vince McMahon certainly doesn’t like the public perception that Superstars are looking to leave the company. Therefore, WWE is going to try and keep from losing anyone they can.
We will keep you updated as more information is made known about any of these developing situations.
