Edge says it was nice to hear that DX are entering the WWE Hall of Fame this year. He doubts that Triple H would want to be inducted as a singles performer at this point, so this was a way for the company to honour him, as well as the other great performers who made DX a force to be reckoned with during the attitude era.
Christian thought the NXT debuts on RAW and Smackdown this week were interesting. He thought it was good for all those performers to get their feet wet on the main roster while being introduced to the WWE universe in the process. Apparently television ratings were up for both shows so that’s a bonus to WWE.
Edge thought the entire situation was weird. He thought it all felt rushed and didn’t really do any of those debuting performers any favours, even though they all did their best with what they were given creatively. Regardless, he’s interested to see where this leaves NXT moving forward.
Edge and Christian welcome Kofi Kingston to the show.
Kingston says he’s constantly telling his peers that you’re always just one match away from something special. That’s exactly what happened to him when he worked the Gauntlet match on Smackdown Live last Tuesday.
