Edge and Christian open today’s show by talking about last Sunday’s Elimination Chamber PPV. Christian thought it was a good show, and thought WWE made a good decision by book-ending the show with the two Chamber matches.
Edge notes that the Women’s Tag Team Chamber match had the potential to be a “clusterf**k” due to the amount of people in the ring at the same time, however he thought the women killed it in this match. He thought it was a great match that told a great story.
Edge was very impressed by Kofi Kingston’s performance on Sunday. He notes that this entire thing has been an incredible, organic story that built from the ground up. He notes that when you spend your whole life in the wrestling business sometimes your mind wanders, but when you see something like the Kingston/Bryan showdown it makes you remember why you fell in love with the business and in those moments it all feels real.
Christian notes that it’s incredible that this has fallen in WWE’s lap. It’s nearly to impossible to build someone to be applauded the way Kingston has been received the last few weeks. It’s been a organic build with the fans gravitating to Kingston on their own, and that’s a special thing.
