X-Pac opens today’s show by discussing DX’s announced induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. He points out that he never campaigned for his induction into the Hall of Fame because every time he thought about it he’d think of all the other deserving performers, some older in age, who should be able to enjoy their induction as well.
He notes that he understands the accomplishments he had in the business, but he’s still completely blown away by the news that he’s being inducted. He’s very grateful and notes that it’s particularly special to be going into the Hall alongside his friends; the people he had the greatest time of his life with.
He says he’s not concerned about going into the Hall as a singles performer. He’s grateful that people continue to say he deserves to go in as a singles performer as well, but he’d choose to be inducted with his friends over being inducted as a singles performer every single time.
X-Pac is particularly happy for Chyna and her family. He notes that this is a big thing for her family, and she absolutely deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.
He says he won’t be delivering a lengthy speech, and adds that he’ll have someone in place to haul him off stage if he talks too long. He has it on good authority that this year’s event won’t be a marathon event with hour-long speeches. The event might be structured differently in order to make it a more pleasurable experience for the audience.
