WWE Still Doesn’t Have A Working WrestleMania Card

WWE is trying to figure out what to do with WrestleMania while they have to deal with everything else going on in the pro wrestling landscape. This is proving to be one of the most difficult years to arrange a WrestleMania card.

On top of Superstars leaving like Dean Ambrose or the impending possibility of losing more top Superstars like The Usos, WWE doesn’t have a WrestleMania card in place.

The Undertaker is currently not slated for a match and John Cena doesn’t have someone to face right now either. Triple H is currently recovering from an injury and Batista is said to be in talks with both WWE and AEW, but odds are if he can wrestle again it will be for WWE. These are historically big draws for WWE due to their mainstream name recognition.

“Cena doesn’t have an opponent,” Dave Meltzer commented on Wrestling Observer Radio. This means that Lars Sullivan very likely lost his WrestleMania match due to the situation surrounding an apparent anxiety attack prior to his scheduled WWE debut.

Apart from Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Title and Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins for the Universal Title it appears WWE doesn’t have anything else booked. Only time will tell how WWE will end up filling out the WrestleMania card, but it was noted that WWE has never taken this long to stack the show of shows in the 35 year history of the event.
