The road to WrestleMania is well and truly underway. With a number of matches already beginning to take shape, it seems the 205 Live brand is ready to set the picture for what the Championship scene will be heading into WWE’s biggest event of the year.
205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick took to Twitter to tease an announcement concerning the 205 Live brand and WrestleMania 35 tonight. Given Buddy Murphy appears to be done with Akira Tozawa following WWE Elimination Chamber this past weekend, it begs the question of whom Murphy could take on during WWE’s biggest weekend.
205 Live begins immediately after SmackDown Live ends. Fans are already speculating on Maverick’s post as to what he could be referencing. They’ve mentioned everything from the addition of former NJPW star Kushida to the 205 Live roster, a Cruiserweight Tag Team title and even the idea of a possible multi-man Ladder match at WrestleMania.
What are your predictions for Maverick’s announcement? Ideally, what would you like to see from the brand at WrestleMania this year? Let us know your thoughts, opinions, and reactions in those comments down below.
