Impact Wrestling seems to be losing certain stars, but they’re not letting go of Eddie Edwards so easily. Edwards’ recent character change on Impact Wrestling was about more than just being struck in the face with a stray baseball bat shot from Sami Callihan. Now it appears he will be receiving even more attention.
Edwards became a focal point in a few storylines with Impact Wrestling in recent months and now it looks like the company is safe to give him more of a spotlight because Edwards has signed a long-term deal with Impact Wrestling.
During Impact Wrestling’s television tapings in Las Vegas on Saturday, they played a video for the live crowd announcing that Edwards signed a long-term deal with the company. The exact time frame of that deal was not released.
During the video, Edwards, a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, commented saying that Impact Wrestling is his home and he is taking the company to the next level. He has his eye on championship gold once again, and he will have plenty of time to accomplish that.
