WWE’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is coming this Sunday. If you can’t make it to Houston to be in attendance, then you can watch all of the action on the award-winning WWE Network.
Braun Strowman is set to face Baron Corbin on the show in a no DQ match. This stipulation was likely given to them to improve the match quality. However, as Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio, the winner of that contest should be evident considering Vince McMahon’s previous booking decisions. Then again, you never know what can happen in WWE.
“I think there’s almost — there’s always a chance, but you know I mean Vince pulled Braun off the match with Brock because he didn’t want to beat Braun because he felt Braun can’t afford a loss so I don’t see him losing to Corbin unless it’s like Drew McInttyre interferring where they build to a handicap match where Braun eventually you know, overcomes both of them.”
WWE can book this match any way they like. Therefore, if they want to surprise us all with an upset they could certainly allow Baron Corbin to beat Strowman. On the road to WrestleMania, everything needs to be taken a bit more seriously as each event should factor into the show of shows in some respect.
