RVD is having fun doing his stand up comedy shows and he hopes to set up some kind of show in Vegas. That way he can perform a few times a week and not have to travel because he never enjoyed travelling, even when he was a full time wrestler. He says he’s trying to work less and make more at this point in his life.

Ross asks RVD which promotion he enjoyed working for the most. RVD says he had the most fun in ECW, but business was much better in WWE. He obviously made more money in WWE but it was also a bigger platform that made him a bigger star worldwide.

Ross asks RVD about his opinion on AEW. RVD points out that the wrestling business is tough and people who finance these upstart promotions usually get sick and tired of losing money after a while and they stop financing it. He hopes that AEW can be the outlier and prove a lot of people wrong.

That sums up today’s episode of The Jim Ross Report. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
