As seen on Sky Bet, the betting odds for the upcoming Women’s Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber match have been released.
Fans have been calling for it over the course of the last few years, and now, it’s finally here: women’s tag titles. It feels like a much needed addition to the women’s roster in more ways than one, as it gives the female superstars of both Raw and SmackDown Live something else to fight over.
The bout at Elimination Chamber will feature six different teams all battling it out for the right to be called the ‘first’ Women’s Tag Team Champions.
In terms of the betting odds, Sasha Banks and Bayley are currently the favourites to walk away with the titles at 4/9. The IIconics are second favourites with 5/1 and then, at distant odds, comes the rest of the field with Nia Jax & Tamina (13/2), The Riott Squad (13/2), Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville (10/1) and Naomi & Carmella (20/1).
The story for Bayley and Banks writes itself, and it certainly makes sense for Peyton Royce & Billie Kay to also be in the discussion given their back story and on-screen chemistry.
Fans are eager to see what kind of match we get when these 12 women step inside the steel structure, mainly because we’ve seen such mixed responses to these type of gimmick matches in the past. One thing is for sure, though – these titles are going to play an important role in the history of WWE for many years to come.
So, basically, don’t miss the show.
