All Elite Wrestling might have upset New Japan Pro Wrestling with their recent signings. They picked up Beretta out from under NJPW when the company had big plans for him in 2019.

NJPW has now removed Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Trent Beretta and Chucky T from the company’s roster page. This likely means that they are done with New Japan, at least the way NJPW sees it.

However, New Japan wasn’t so quick to delete two big stars in Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega who remain on the NJPW roster page. Since Jericho worked into his AEW contract that he is allowed to work NJPW dates, this could be a sign that an upcoming deal with Kenny Omega could have the same clause.

NJPW is said to have three big opponents lined up for Y2J in 2019. A deal has not been reached between Jericho and New Japan, but the fact he remains on the company’s website is a good sign in that regard.
