As seen on Sky Bet, the betting odds for tonight’s Halftime Heat event have been released.

NXT has been responsible for some of the biggest and best moments and matches in WWE over the last few years, and it doesn’t feel like that’s an exaggeration. It’s the kind of territory in which you can express yourself in ways that the main roster doesn’t allow for, and it’s always nice to have that kind of dynamic.

That pattern will continue this weekend when Halftime Heat takes place during Super Bowl LIII, which will mark the first time WWE has produced an episode of Halftime Heat since The Rock and Mankind battled for the WWF Championship back in 1999.

In terms of the betting odds, Velveteen Dream, Ricochet and Aleister Black are the 8/13 favourites to walk away with the win whereas Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa and Adam Cole are 6/5 underdogs.

There are also two ‘request a bets’ available on the site, with one being ‘Rams to win Super Bowl & Dream, Ricochet and Black to win’ at 5/2, as well as ‘Patriots to win Super Bowl & Cole, Ciampa and Gargano to win’ at 3/1.

It would make sense to see the babyfaces come away with the win for that ‘big pop’ kind of moment, but the real question is how many people are going to be switching over to the WWE Network in order to watch?

We’re hoping the answer is ‘a lot’, but we’ll have to wait and see as the countdown continues to the big game.
