WWE isn’t the only pro wrestling company that will be able to throw some big money around soon enough because All Elite Wrestling is going to be backed by family with more money than the McMahons. This has caused a lot of fans to anticipate the alternative to WWE even more and some of those fans are apparently at NXT TakeOver: Phoenix.

Before the event kicked off, fans in the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix Arizona filled the building with various chants and not all of them are WWE approved.

Some fans were chanting “AEW” and that isn’t something WWE wants. To top it off, there were some “CM Punk” chants as well. It looks like these fans are ready for an alternative as they prepare for WWE’s NXT TakeOver show. Of course, there were also plenty of NXT chants.

This might be a very interesting set of chants to hear, but if this crowd is multiplied by several and goes into Chase Field with the same mindset we could be in for a very interesting Royal Rumble event.
