WWE made a very interesting decision when they announced that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles will be determined in an Elimination Chamber setting. After all, there is no tag team aspect in a free-for-all like the Elimination Chamber, but WWE is doing it.

They announced the rules for this match so you have an idea about what they’re going to do in February. There won’t be any tags so fans won’t really get that kind of vibe, but they have some plans.

WWE announced the official rules for the Women’s Tag Team Title match at the Elimination Chamber and they are follows:

“Two teams will start the bout while the remaining four duos remain enclosed in pods. At specified intervals, a pod will open at random, enabling a new team to enter the match. This will continue until all six pairs have joined the bout. If one member of a team gets eliminated at any time via pinfall or submission, both members of the team are eliminated and must leave the contest. The last tag team standing will be declared the winner and the first-ever Women’s Tag Teams Champions.”

It is interesting how they said “specified intervals” instead of just saying two minutes or whatever time they go with. Obviously, they don’t know yet. One member being pinned or submitting means the entire team is out, and they will continue until they have a winner.

Let’s hope for the best.
