WWE’s NXT brand has a roster full of Superstars who are striving to be noticed on a greater level. They run the risk of becoming injured just like any other professional wrestler and a few of them are currently out of action.

Fightful reports an updated list of injured NXT Superstars and provided some more information on their conditions and expected return dates.

Tegan Nox suffered an awful set of injuries at the Mae Young Classic. She was reportedly slated to win the tournament as well, but she experienced very bad dive on Rhea Ripley and destroyed her “good knee.” Nox is still out of action with a torn ACL, MCL, and LCL. She also dislocated her kneecap and tore both meniscuses. At this time there is no expected date for her return because she recently had to undergo another surgery.

Tino Sabbatelli was starting to find some footing in the NXT tag team division until he suffered an injury as well. Sabbatelli tore his pectoral muscle in April 2018 which required surgery. He is expected to be back early this year, however, an exact date wasn’t provided.

Dakota Kai recently revealed that she suffered a knee injury on December 7th at an NXT house show. She required surgery yesterday (January 17th) and at this time she is just starting her recuperation process.

Eric Bugenhagen suffered a concussion. He is currently appearing on WWE’s “digital properties,” but no timetable was released for his return either. WWE takes concussions very seriously and they’re never in a rush to bring someone back too early from a brain injury.

Hopefully, everyone on this list can heal up and continue their trek to become WWE Superstars. An injury is never a good thing, but they can use this time to become better all-around entertainers. After all, just because you’re injured doesn’t mean you can’t work on other skills needed to be a successful sports entertainer.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
