WWE Bringing In Another International Breakout Star

WWE has roster full of talent, but they are always looking to add fresh faces. It seems that they have their eyes on another German for their WWE UK NXT brand and they reportedly plan on making him a top star.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Ilja Dragunov has started pulling out of indie bookings. He was at the Germany tryouts that WWE held and was the best one there. The belief is that Ilja Dragunov will become one of the top Superstars in NXT UK along with Pete Dunne, WALTER, and Mustache Mountain. So he could be making trips to the United States for some matches, but he will remain in Europe.

Ilja Dragunov pulled out of a Defiant Wrestling event recently as well and this got fans thinking. It turns out there could be fire to that smoke after all.

Ilja Dragunov brought a lot of attention to himself at the PWG Battle Of Los Angeles event where people remarked about how great his selling was. He is a breakout star of the show and you can see highlights of that match below.
