A listener writes into the show and asks them if there are any matches they thought was one of their best, but doesn’t get the recognition that some of their other matches get. Christian says he and Edge had a cage match shortly after they split up that was really good, but it doesn’t get mentioned much. Edge recalls that match as well, and thinks it took place on one of WWE’s old Rebellion PPVs.
Another listener writes into the show and asks Edge and Christian if Jeff Hardy was actually supposed to exit the cage as early as he did during their match at Unforgiven 2000. Christian says that was supposed to happen, because the stipulation in that match was that both tag team members had to exit the cage to win. Jeff exiting that early allowed Edge and Christian to team up on Matt for a while and tell the story they wanted.
A listener asks which wrestling promotion will be at the top of the food chain in 10 years. Edge says it will still be WWE, even if something happens to Vince McMahon in that time frame. He doesn’t think that much can change in 10 years, but that doesn’t mean other promotions can’t be viable and have success during that period as well.
Another listener writes into the show and asks the guys which Titles they think are the best aesthetically. Christian says he loved the WWE World Title that Hulk Hogan held, the one prior to the “Winged Eagle” Title. Edge says he loves the classic white-strap Intercontinental Title, and Christian agrees.
