WWE has a lot of people out in the world’s wrestling scene that they’re keeping an eye on. Juice Robinson once worked in NXT as CJ Parker, but he since went to New Japan Pro Wrestling to find much more success.

Now Robinson is a two-time IWGP United States Champion following Wrestle Kingdom 13 where he defeated Cody Rhodes. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio how NJPW was able to sign Juice to another deal in spite of WWE interest.

“Juice just signed a three-year deal with New Japan. That’s another key guy. WWE was not… he was not talking to WWE. I know that WWE was interested, but there was no talking as best I could tell. In fact, I know. All Elite obviously wanted him.”

Juice Robinson was able to find himself in a big way upon entering NJPW. He certainly got a better opportunity with the company than he received in NXT. You never know if WWE’s interest might bring Juice back eventually, but they’re going to have to wait another three years to try.
