WWE SmackDown Live Superstar Could Be Still Suffering From Illness

WWE taped their New Year’s Day episode of SmackDown Live last night and there were plenty of notable events. One very interesting interaction came when Mandy Rose announced that she had been sending scandalous pictures to Naomi’s husband Jimmy Uso.

Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that it was Sonya Deville in the match against Naomi and not Mandy Rose. Apparently, Rose has been ill like couple of other WWE Superstars. Therefore, if she wasn’t cleared for contact as Superstars must be before returning from an illness that could explain why she didn’t mix it up with The Glow.

“I wonder if this is still because Mandy Rose has the flu. She was very sick and missed some dates so I don’t if that’s why.”

Mandy Rose has been trying to get between Naomi and Jimmy Uso in their storyline. Only time will tell if it ends up working or how quickly Naomi is able to deal with this new issue.

Mandy Rose is set for big push. Vince McMahon likes her so that really matters backstage. We’ll have to wait and see, but hopefully, she was able to get over her illness in the meantime.
