WWE is always on the hunt for new talent and it looks like they’re bringing another one to the table. They’ve had success with some Superstars making transitions from other sports in the past. The Rock is probably the greatest sports entertainer of all time and he came from football. Now it appears that another name is joining the list.

Former NFL player Pat McAfee has signed a deal to keep appearing as a talking head on kickoff show panels as well as some other digital content for WWE.

McAfee recently said on his Pat McAfee Show podcast:

“WWE has formally offered me a multi-year contract. Who knows what we’re going to be doing over there, they just want me to come make some content. And we’ll see where it goes.

It doesn’t seem like he’ll be getting in the ring, but he’s going to be a notable name to have around. This could also be another attempt on WWE’s part to rope in legitimate sports names to prepare for their move to Fox Sports.
