Former WWE Superstar Possibly Returning To Company

WWE has a lot of people who used to wrestle for them and then they went out on the indies and it just didn’t work for one reason or another in a big way. Darren Young is still in great shape since his release and will work an indie date when needed, but he hasn’t made that big step since leaving WWE.

Young recently spoke to The Roman Show where he opened up about being “hopeful” of making some kind of appearances in ROH or NJPW. He seems open to it which is a big part of it in the first place as some people might not be as interested.

“2018 I spent a lot of time doing a lot of speaking engagements. Very little wrestling but 2019 is going to be a big year for me! Hopefully [New] Japan, hopefully ROH.”

When it comes to a return to WWE, that actually seems much more likely for Young,

“Recently, I was just at WWE in L.A. and they invited me back with open arms. So, who knows? 2019, you may see me as an ambassador with the company. Just because moves aren’t being announced doesn’t mean moves aren’t being made.”

You never know how WWE could use someone like Darren Young who has such a positive message to spread. Hopefully, we’ll see him again soon as his career only continues past his initial run with WWE.
