Matt Riddle has been on a wild ride since leaving the UFC, actually, he was fired and still considers that very bad decision from Dana White. He was able to harness his passion for entertainment anyway and carry on through the chants of “Baby Lensar” to make a name for himself on the indie pro wrestling scene.
While speaking to E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness, attention was called to the fact that Riddle is set to make his Madison Square Garden debut on December 26th. He was quite happy to talk about this in his usual way.
“It’s weird, there are a lot of de-butts this year, Any time I can get one in,” Riddle joked making reference to how he said the word “debut” during one of his first NXT interviews.

“I believe [it’s a 10-man tag match]. I believe it’s the Undisputed Era and Tommaso Ciampa vs me, Aleister Black, Velveteen Dream, Pete Dunne, and Ricochet. It should be fire and it should be easy because there’s 10 of us so there’s only so many people you can hit.”

In his usual way, Riddle is taking his MSG “de-butt” as something lighthearted, but it is still a pretty heavy career achievement. He’s on the top of his game and ready to make a huge name in NXT. It might only be a matter of time before The King Of Bros is able to make an even bigger name for himself in WWE.
