Shinsuke Nakamura Not Returning to New Japan

While answering questions on Twitter, Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer mentioned that Shinsuke Nakamura is not returning to New Japan, despite his contract with WWE expiring next year.

Nakamura spoke to Inside The Ropes back in August about the possibilities of returning to New Japan once his contract with WWE expires. He seemingly didn’t give an answer at that time.

“That is a big decision. Florida’s waves are better than Japan, it’s just an hour drive to the beach but just once a week I’m able to go to the surfing. But in Japan, if there’s a hurricane so I lived across from the beach, just a ten-minute walk. It’s hard to choose.”
