Why WWE Rebuilding The Revival Might Take Some Time

The Revival won a fatal four-way match on RAW this week to become #1 contenders. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio how even failing to win the titles wasn’t a bad sign for them because WWE is still building up big stars. After all, The Revival has been in the losing position pretty often since their main roster call-up.

“Some changing of guys who haven’t gotten an opportunity is not gonna work in five minutes. It’s gonna take some patience in certain cases.”

“Let’s wait and see next week if it’s a really good match and they lose, that’s good. If it’s just a normal match that nobody cares about and then they lose… it might be still a good match.”

The Revival don’t end up with the RAW Tag Team Titles as their Christmas presents, but at least WWE gave them the shot. We will have to wait and see how good of a match they are able to have because at least they’re still getting chances to grab the brass ring. So you never know if 2019 might finally see Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson’s big break on the WWE main roster.
