WWE SmackDown Results – December 4th, 2018

Miz TV

The Miz tried to start the segment, but R-Truth and Carmella came out and did a dance break and then they left. “Did you all really start dancing?” The Miz asked the crowd.

Then The Miz introduced The New Daniel Bryan. The WWE Champion just slumped in his chair as The Miz said that Bryan realized that he was right all along because The Old Daniel Bryan finally realized the fans don’t know what’s good.

Daniel insulted the fans and what they want and then he said that he doesn’t care about them. He kept referring to himself to the first and third person and switched. Bryan said he’s been consulting the writings of Alexander Hamilton and he called the fans fickle.

He kept getting “what” chants and they he said they’re just saying something from 20 years ago but they can’t help it. He called the fans and said that big decisions shouldn’t be left to the wishes of the masses. Then The Miz said that he agreed with Hamilton and it sounds like something he’s been saying for years.

Daniel said Miz dances around the issue because he kicked AJ in the groin, but to be fair he kicked one man in the groin one day. But these fans harm the earth every time they do things like eating meat, not recycling, and otherwise. Yes, the New Daniel Bryan is an angry hippie who loves the planet and he’s getting heat because of it.

The Miz wanted to get Daniel to admit that he’s WWE Champion because he listened to what he said and Daniel said “yes, no, yes, no, yes, no” over and over again. Bryan took his Yes Movement side plates off his title and threw them down saying the Yes Movement is dead. Then he raised his title with no side plates on.

AJ Styles walked out and he didn’t look happy. Bryan pushed Miz into Styles and caused a chance for him to leave. The Miz headed AJ off when Styles chased Daniel around the ring and then The Miz came up behind AJ and hit a Skull Crushing Finale as The New Daniel Bryan got away.

Jeff Hardy vs Randy Orton

Hardy jumped Orton right from the bell and they got started early. RKO pulled at Hardy’s ear only to be clotheslined to the outside. Then Hardy hit a clothesline and bounced Orton off the ring post. Randy smashed Hardy against the announce table and then Jeff suplexed Orton on the table in return.

Once the action returned to the ring, they continued with some rest holds and Hardy hit a Whisper In The Wind on Orton before they both got up at the same time to continue the match. Jeff hit the inverted atomic drop for a two count and the Twist Of Fate was blocked by Orton.

Then Jeff landed a headbutt to the midsection, but Randy caught him and nailed a draping DDT. Jeff blocked an RKO, then Orton blocked another Twist Of Fate. Jeff landed a shot and climbed to the top rope, but Orton met him on the top rope and climbed up to join him.

Jeff slid under Orton and hit the Twist Of Fate before climbing to the top rope, but Orton rolled outside the ring. Jeff nailed a baseball slide and cleared off an announce table. Then Jeff slammed Randy on the table before he climbed to the top rope. He was about to jump on Randy, but Samoa Joe showed up on the screen and distracted him.

Suddenly, Orton jumped in the ring, hit the RKO, and got the pinfall.

Winner: Randy Orton

After the match was over, Samoa Joe remained on the screen and gave a PSA about moderation while taking a shot at Jeff Hardy’s history with alcohol.
