The Rock has an awful lot to be proud of. He is a box office juggernaut, he is always involved in successful projects, and apparently, NASA has given The Great One one more thing to brag about. Because Dwayne Johnson was told by NASA that he’s bionic from the waist down. These are Rock’s words, not ours.
While bragging about lifting 460 pounds with his hips and glutes with thrusts to warm up before working on his legs, The Rock talked about “solid gains.” He said that he’s managing his lower body past injuries like multiple knee injuries, a ruptured surgically repaired Achilles, multiple hernia surgical repairs, etc. Needless to say, The Rock has done a lot of damage to his body to look the way that he does.
The Rock said he’s stronger now and carrying more dense muscle and “the key is really smart, precise, intense training and diet.”
He then said, “according to NASA, I’m basically bionic from the waist down. Which always leads to inappropriate jokes whilst I drink my tequila.”
Yeah, The Rock keeps training every day so he can keep in peak physical condition. And apparently, he still has a bit more to brag about than the rest of us. So nothing has really changed in that regard.

Personal best 460lbs hip/glute thrusts to warm up before hitting legs. Solid gains in strength and coach @daverienzi and I are always managing lower body past injuries – multiple knee surgeries, quad & adductor tears off pelvis, ruptured surgically repaired Achilles, multiple hernia surgical repairs etc etc. Stronger now and carrying more dense muscle then ever before, but the key is really smart, precise, intense training and diet. And doing my best to always listen to my body. And according to NASA, I’m basically bionic from the waist down. Which always leads to inappropriate jokes whilst I drink my tequila 😉 We trained very hard today. #TodayWasAGoodDay #LegDay #BionicStuff #IronParadise 💪🏾🌴
