Aside from the inclusion of multiple WWE NXT Superstars in the upcoming EVOLVE shows, the biggest matches this December for the promotion surrounded matches between NXT’s The Street Profits vs. Impact Wrestling’s LAX.
As we previously reported, LAX was pulled from the EVOLVE shows due to Impact not wanting their talent to be defeated by NXT stars. With that said, the show must still go on, and EVOLVE is seeking to find a replacement team to face The Street Profits over the weekend shows in mid-December.
Santana of LAX has now responded to the chaos surrounding this situation. While not directly naming promotions specifically, the wrestler claimed that in a perfect world he would have happily fought the Street Profits. He thinks the match would have been really cool for the fans and wrestling has proved once again that there is a lot of work to be done, as the possibilities are endless.
Check out his reaction on Twitter, replying to a fan who said they want to see the match between The Street Profits and LAX:

With 2019 just around the corner, and the financial state of Impact continuing to be brought into question, it remains to be seen what does happen with the promotion- though a partnership with WWE seems more likely than ever, amidst the growth of promotions such as MLW, ROH, and NJPW.
