Natalya is a veteran of the squared circle. Coming from a legendary family, the RAW Superstar has become one of the most respected and longest-tenured female competitors in WWE history. She has been through multiple ‘era’ periods in WWE and remains one of the most beloved and most consistent names to date.
The queen of the Neidhart family was interviewed by The Wrap where she revealed that she truly, sincerely believes that women will main event WrestleMania 35- which is set to take place on April 7, 2019, at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
This is an opinion echoed by many. We’ve reported in the past that WWE is considering a variety of matches for WrestleMania 35. The main matches we’ve heard include Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair, Rousey vs. Becky Lynch, The Four Horsewomen of WWE vs. The Four Horsewomen of MMA and a few other variations. All of these proverbial matches have, at one point, been in discussion for possibly main eventing WWE’s largest show.
Natalya had the following comments for The Wrap:

“I think we are gonna headline WrestleMania this year. I feel strongly that we will do that.
“The Women’s Evolution right now in WWE– it’s on fire. Women have never been involved as they are right now in the company, and we’re doing things every single day to show that women are at the forefront.
“We have women behind the scenes that are in charge, like Stephanie McMahon and Michelle Wilson and so many different women taking on leadership roles in the company. We had our first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view. I’ve been a part of so many first-ever, incredible female moments in the company, like the first-ever women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble, the first-ever Women’s Table Match…
“The time has come.”

It remains to be seen whether women do end up main eventing what is expected to be WWE’s best WrestleMania in company history. All signs, however, are pointing to that dream becoming a reality. Rest assured, this proverbial match is a long time coming, and there is no better time to capitalize on having the women main event such a historic show.
What match do you believe should main event WrestleMania 35? Do you think women will get the main event? Let us know your thoughts, opinions, and reactions in those comments below.
