The wrestling industry has changed in a variety of ways throughout 2018. One major shift the wrestling scene has seen was the resurgence of Impact Wrestling and the subsequent problems the company has had with their TV Network and weekly viewer counts.
Despite all the hardships the company has faced, they remain strong. So much so, in fact, that the company has partnered with up-and-coming indie promotion Big Time Wrestling for two shows this November/December period.
First, Impact Wrestling and Big Time Wrestling will hold “Gold Rush” live on Twitch from the Newark Pavilion in Newark, CA. This will take place on November 30. The day after, the two promotions will hold the “One Night Only: Back To Cali” taping at the Salinas PAL Youth Center in Salinas, CA.
The shows will feature Impact World Heavyweight Championship bouts on both shows and a number of cross-promotional matches. Stars confirmed for this show already include Johnny Impact, Moose, Eddie Edwards, Matt Sydal, Rich Swann, Eli Drake, Brian Cage, Tessa Blanchard, Kiera Hogan, and oVe.
In particular, the card for “Gold Rush” is as follows:

  • Impact World Heavyweight Championship: Johnny Impact vs. Eli Drake
  • Tessa Blanchard vs. Kiera Hogan
  • Brian Cage vs. Moose
  • oVe vs. The Freaks
  • Eddie Edwards vs. “The Jackpot” Scotty Wringer
  • Matt Sydal vs. Rich Swann

The “One Night Only: Back To Cali” card is as follows:

  • Impact World Heavyweight Championship: Johnny Impact vs. Moose
  • Tessa Blanchard vs. Kiera Hogan
  • Eli Drake vs. Brian Cage
  • Dave Christ vs. “The Metalhead” Maniac Sledge
  • Jake Christ vs. Rich Swann
