One of the many shocking announcements ahead of Crown Jewel was that Hulk Hogan would be reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame and would serve as the guest host of the special event WWE would go on to hold in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Hogan’s son Nick was interviewed by TMZ Sports while at the airport earlier today. He was asked what the reaction was from the family on Hogan being reinstated to WWE and appearing at Crown Jewel. As Nick explains, he and the family were blown away by the reactions Hogan got, and Hogan himself was home in that environment.
Here is what Nick had to say:

“How cool is that? That is awesome. I knew a little bit before- and obviously, I can’t say anything but it was just so cool because he had never been to the Middle East before so it was his first time going over to the Middle East, so it was interesting for him to see, you know, the reaction to Hulkamania in the Middle East. So, it was just a home run all around.
“You know, he facetimed me from over there. It was pandemonium. It looked like, you know, Hulkamania in the 80s over here. It was just like, so many fans and so many people that had never gotten to see him or experience, you know, him in person before. So it was very cool”

Hogan has not been confirmed for any future events with WWE, though it is expected he may have appearances on an increased basis over the next few years as he transitions back into the life of a wrestler with a legends contract with the company.
Nick also commented on the idea of his father eventually retiring. You can read more about that here.
