Tommaso Ciampa Sends Message To Dave Meltzer After NXT TakeOver: WarGames Win

Tommaso Ciampa is a throwback to a heel that we haven’t seen in pro wrestling in a long time, especially in WWE. Ciampa won his match against Velveteen Dream at NXT TakeOver: WarGames and it was just one addition to an already impressive night.
Ciampa is ruthless and draws heat whenever he can. At this point, it seems like he is holding his title for greater purpose, but for Ciampa, he doesn’t plan on dropping Goldy anytime soon.
Dave Meltzer, as you probably know is the author of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter which formulates a star rating system for matches in his newsletter. They range up to five stars or possibly even six if the match has Kenny Omega and takes place in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
But Ciampa had a special message for Meltzer after his latest TakeOver win. “atDaveMeltzerWON, The Champ will take care of this one for you,” and then he added in five gold stars for good measure.
It will be interesting to see how many stars Dave Meltzer actually give Tommaso Ciampa vs Velveteen Dream at NXT TakeOver: WarGames, but if you ask Ciampa he already has a rating system Meltzer can use.
