NXT has a lot of great talents in the WWE Performance Center and The Mighty are a very impressive tag team. Formerly known as TM-61, The Mighty have been making a name for themselves without competing on a TakeOver card, but WWE’s intention for them might not be to make them big stars in the USA just yet.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio how The Mighty might fall into WWE’s plan to initiate global WWE Performance Center and we might be looking at two of the top guys if and when they open an Aussie branch.

“The thing I see with The Mighty, the goal is to open up circuits all over the world to kind of like take the spot of the local circuits that are all over the world. So a part of me goes, ‘God you know The Mighty are really good but they don’t fit here,’ as far as WWE goes — they just don’t.”
“But I think the idea may be for them instead of this main roster team is the idea that maybe they go to Australia when they open up the Australia territory and then these guys can be the Superstars there and they would be in that environment. Because they really are so good so I think that would work.”

WWE is opening up Performance Centers all over the place and it seems like WWE’s global take over isn’t over by a long shot. Therefore, only time will tell if The Mighty will end up being huge stars in NXT Australia soon enough, but apparently, they’re on the right track.
