Nita Strauss is a legitimate WWE fan, and one of the leading female guitarists around the world. Strauss first appeared for WWE back at WrestleMania 34, where she strummed the beat to Shinsuke Nakamura’s theme song. Since that time, she has made numerous appearances on WWE TV.
Strauss recently released her album “Controlled Chaos,” which includes the song “Mariana Trench.” This was one of three themes used for NXT TakeOver: War Games last night. As one may expect, Strauss was backstage during the show- also appearing on the pre-show early during the night.
While backstage, Strauss was interviewed, where she revealed that she thinks SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is deserving of a new theme song, and she’d happily write the song for the Superstar. WWE just needs to call her and give her the opportunity to do that.
WWE has uploaded the video to their YouTube account, and they do have an increasingly successful business relationship with Strauss, so it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that the guitarist and her band could write the theme for a proverbial Lynch theme. This all depends on the reception WWE sees, and if they believe Lynch needs new music to fit her changing character.
