WWE has their eye on the world’s best talent and it looks like Shane Strickland could be on his way to WWE if everything works out. Strickland recently unmasked himself on Lucha Underground after losing a mask vs mask match against Son Of Havoc (Matt Cross) and now it looks like Swerve is leaving MLW.
PW Insider reports that Stickland is leaving Major League Wrestling, a company he is a former top champion of. Apparently, MLW has been preparing for his exit from the company for a long time. His final date with MLW will be on December 14th.
The belief at this time is that Shane will start with NXT in January. Strickland is a former CZW World Heavyweight Championship and has performed in EVOLVE as well. He has a ton of ability and at 30-years-old he could have a lot of future in WWE.
