War Raiders, Ricochet, and Pete Dunne were backstage and they were trying to decide who would face Kyle O’Reilly. Finally, Hanson spoke up and said he’ll do it and walked off.

They aired a very nice highlight video to hype the upcoming Johnny Gargano vs Aleister Black match at NXT TakeOver: WarGames.

Matt Riddle had an interview segment backstage about his experience so far. “I made my debutt” he said and he was successful. Then Ohno showed up and asked Riddle why he hasn’t challenged him to a match. Riddle said they’d have a match next week and he’s going to leave Ohno KO’ed in the ring. This is likely the match that will be recorded for the Staples Center crowd before NXT TakeOver: WarGames.

Karissa Rivera vs Lacey Evans

Lacey took advantage early on and stayed on Rivera including an assault in the corner even though the referee tried to pull her away. Then Evan pulled out a handkerchief and fanned herself to give Rivera a chance to take advantage and hit a couple moves but it just seemed to upset Evans.

Then Evans nailed Rivera with The Women’s Right and that was all she wrote.

Winner: Lacey Evans

After the match, she cut a promo in the ring saying NXT is full of a bunch of “classless nasties” and “these girls forget to carry themselves with sophistication.” She said she will lead by example as the lady of NXT and if they don’t meet her standards she will teach a lesson of manners.

They aired a video hyping Tommaso Ciampa’s NXT Title defense against Velveteen Dream coming up at NXT TakeOver: WarGames.
