One of the biggest stories coming out of WWE Crown Jewel earlier this month was the injury Triple H sustained in the DX vs. The Brothers of Destruction match that headlined the show. This, of course, ultimately required surgery.
With Triple H undergoing surgery, he has not been backstage for recent WWE events. In fact, he and Vince McMahon were both not at SmackDown Live last night, which led to Kevin Dunn and Michael Hayes taking over for the night.
Ryan Satin has confirmed over at Pro Wrestling Sheet that Triple H will indeed be returning to his duties for NXT. “The Game” has confirmed he will be backstage at the upcoming NXT TakeOver: War Games special that airs on the WWE Network this Saturday.
In fact, Triple H has confirmed he will be traveling through to Los Angeles tomorrow as planned. He will also be partaking in a press conference with several news outlets following TakeOver- which is expected to be headlined by the War Games bout.
