Shane McMahon returned to WWE after taking a long hiatus following the Greatest Royal Rumble. It wasn’t long until he was crowned the Best In The World at the WWE Crown Jewel event. As we previously reported, Shane is looking at a heel turn soon enough, but his reputation backstage reportedly needs some work as well.
Brad Shepard noted on the Oh, You Didn’t Know podcast that Shane is indeed scheduled to be a part of a major WrestleMania angle in the build toward the big yearly show. He also went on to say that he was told that McMahon is “high maintenance” as well.

“I was told that he is certainly going to get some sort of a headline fight at WrestleMania and in fact, they referred to Shane as ‘high maintenance’ and ‘everytime he gets involved we all roll our eyes.’ Take that for what it’s worth but apparently, Shane McMahon is high maintenance.”

The definition of high maintenance is, “demanding a lot of attention.” Therefore, it’s not hard to believe that Shane could fall into that category. But he’s in a very unique position in WWE and has been for years. Since his return to the company he has only participated in highlighted appearances, but he’s a McMahon so that’s understandable as well.
We will let you know more as we hear it, but according to Shepard’s source in the company, Shane McMahon could be developing quite a reputation backstage.
