Paige On How The WWE SmackDown Locker Room Reacted To Roman Reigns Leukemia Announcement

Roman Reigns’ announcement that he had leukemia 11 years ago was something the WWE Universe never saw coming. He relinquished the WWE Universal Title and then took off to go back home to focus on his health.
As we previously reported, Roman is currently undergoing treatments to beat leukemia again. Paige is GM on SmackDown Live, but Reigns’ announcement sent shockwaves through the entire company. She spoke to Planeta Wrestling recently where she revealed how everyone is pulling for The Big Dog.

“Obviously everyone is really sad for Roman but we know he’s the strongest guy ever. He’s the hardest worker in the locker room. He really is the locker room leader and we believe that he will beat this and he will come back stronger than ever. He’s such an incredible person and I don’t know anyone who dislikes him.”
“He’s just one of those people that everyone loves and people go to for advice. He’s like the ‘Papa Bear’ of the group. So I’m really going to miss him on his time away right now but it’s for his health and we’re with him and the doors are open for him when he comes back. We’ll throw a party for him when he comes back.”

We can’t wait for Roman to make his return either. Hopefully, he will be able to pick up where he left off and continue his journey as a WWE Superstar without any more setbacks. But until he comes back, he has a ton of support everywhere he looks which has to help as well.
