WWE had to lose Paige far too early after she suffered one too many bad bumps to her neck. But at this point in her career, she seems to be loving her role as GM of SmackDown Live. Still, she would love to be able to wrestle but that doesn’t seem possible.
Paige recently spoke to Planeta Wrestling about several subjects, but when asked if she was trying to get back into the ring and seek medical clearance like Daniel Bryan did, she had to clarify that they have two very different injuries.

“I will fight every day to get back into the ring but mine and [Daniel] Bryan’s injuries were a little bit different. His was all stuff to do with his brain and like his concussion and stuff. Mine is spinal. So I have spinal stenosis just like Edge does where you just — it’s impossible for me to get in the ring again, maybe in 20 year’s time, by the time, 20’s time no one’s gonna want to see me back in the ring, are you kidding? So, who knows? Who knows?”

It looks like Paige is leaving the door open for a miracle because anything is possible. But if I were a betting man Paige is loving her new position and freedom to pursue her other interests and projects. Therefore, although she might love to wrestle again, it’s not something that she’s going to risk everything in order to get back.
The important part is that Paige is happy and healthy, and that seems to be the case right now even if she’s not wrestling.
