WWE Crown Jewel took place in Saudi Arabia even though you’d never know that it was actually taking place there unless you already knew because they didn’t namedrop the country once during the show. Of course, that wasn’t the case for the Arabic announce team as we’ve been told they used the country’s name more than a couple times.
WWE has sent out a survey to fans about WWE Crown Jewel to gauge their enjoyment level of the event. It’s interesting to note that while most surveys they send out to the WWE Fan Council include a spot where you can vote on the most surprising moment — the survey for WWE Crown Jewel did not.
But they did ask fans to rate how much they liked the event in a few areas including overall enjoyment, providing a good value, level of excitement, and unexpected moments. They also asked how fans would rate the “variety of Superstars featured” which is a very bold question to ask about an event that didn’t let any females perform in the ring.
It looks like WWE is still trying to gather as much data as possible about the event and how fans saw it. After asking a bunch of technical questions about who you watched the event with and through what service, fans were also asked to simply pick their favorite match without any chance to comment on the controversy surrounding the event itself.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
