Brock Lesnar winning the WWE Universal Title at Crown Jewel didn’t mean that he is giving up on his UFC plans at all. In fact, he has even more of a reason to get back into the Octagon after being called out by Daniel Cormier.
Joe Peisich said on Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast that Lesnar’s next UFC fight is coming up next year and he has heard of a possible date to fight DC as well.

“Brock Lesnar from what I hear will face Daniel Cormier March 2nd at UFC 235.”

Cormier has offers from WWE to come in and audition for a broadcaster role which is something he really wants to do. After all, he has said that he won’t be fighting past his next birthday and he turns 40 on March 20th. Therefore, a March 2nd fight might be Lesnar’s last chance to fight DC.
Only time will tell what happens in between now and then because any number of things could change that plan. But it certainly seems like there are plans for Lesnar to fight in the UFC once again — the biggest question should be will he be WWE Universal Champion when his UFC return comes around.
