WWE Crown Jewel was a pretty controversial event both before, during, and after it taking place. What fans watched the event were quick to notice the odd booking decisions which soon led to even more complaining about WWE’s decisions.
But one choice WWE made was getting their Superstars out of Saudi Arabia as soon as possible after WWE Crown Jewel’s completion — but it had nothing to do with the controversy and more to do with WWE’s busy life on the road.
Mike Johnson noted on PW Insider that the Superstars weren’t “rushed” to imply anything out of the usual, but they had to get in the air as soon as possible in order to keep working the “loop” or shows scheduled for them.
Triple H, as we previously reported flew back to the United States directly in what was noted to have either been a chartered flight or the corporate jet. Vince McMahon probably took his own personal air service as well but he was likely traveling in whatever jet Triple H didn’t use.
The roster needs to be in Manchester England for this week’s television tapings so the women’s roster will be boarding flights very soon as well. The show must go on and after WWE Crown Jewel, they have a fair amount of explaining to do.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
