Jim Cornette is extremely outspoken about the traditional values of pro wrestling and storytelling. He values selling and all part of pro wrestling that made it a national favorite for families and individuals everywhere.
There is a lot of bad indie wrestling floating around on the Interwebs and Cornette tries his best to keep things bottled up, but every now and then he just can’t keep his feelings to himself.
Jim recently saw a spot of a bad bump off the top rope where the flipper became the flipee through a stack of glass lighting tubes in a piledriver of death. This botched spot has been making the rounds on Wrestling Twitter and Corey obviously saw it.
“Unfortunately apparently both these morons lived–it’s a shame when real pros are injured doing real wrestling, while somehow these cretins walk away from this foolishness. What’s worse is some of us walk the same streets with people that pay to see this type of horsesh*t,” Cornette replied.
This is actual tame if you consider what he says on his podcasts at times when this subject is approached. But it’s still pretty brutal. You can check out the clip below and Cornette’s reply.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
